2. Sorted and repaired
Pallets are graded by size and condition. Reusable ones are checked and repaired; the rest are stripped for sound boards and blocks.

Used pallets & recycling
Graded, checked and repaired second-hand pallets that do the same job for less, backed by a recycling operation that keeps timber in use and out of landfill.
Cost-effective and sustainable
Every pallet that comes through the yard is inspected before it goes back out. Broken deck boards, cracked bearers, loose blocks and protruding nails are dealt with, and anything that cannot be repaired safely is dismantled for recycling instead of sold.
For internal handling, general UK distribution, single-trip deliveries and seasonal peaks, used pallets are usually the sensible choice. They cost a fraction of new, they arrive faster because stock is already on the ground, and reusing a pallet avoids the embodied carbon of making another one.
Where used is not right — food-grade work, automated handling with tight tolerances, or exports that need heat treatment — we will say so and quote the correct alternative instead.

Grades
Grading language varies across the trade, so here is ours in plain English. If you have a spec from another supplier, send it over and we will match it.
| Pallet | Typical size | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Grade A used | 1200 x 1000mm / 1200 x 800mm | Little visible wear, no repairs or a single replaced board. Suitable for outbound customer deliveries and pallet networks. |
| Grade B used | 1200 x 1000mm / 1200 x 800mm | Sound and serviceable with visible wear and repairs. The everyday workhorse for internal handling and general distribution. |
| Repaired / reconditioned | Standard footprints | Boards and blocks replaced in our workshop, checked for nail heads and squareness before despatch. |
| Non-standard used | Mixed sizes | Odd-size pallets from collections, priced keenly where the exact footprint is not critical. |
Pallet recycling
Pallet recycling South Coast businesses can actually audit: reuse first, repair second, recycle third. Nothing usable is scrapped and nothing scrapped goes to landfill.

We take surplus pallets off your yard as a one-off clearance or on a regular schedule, so they stop blocking loading bays and fire exits.

Pallets are graded by size and condition. Reusable ones are checked and repaired; the rest are stripped for sound boards and blocks.

Timber that cannot be reused is processed into chip and biomass feedstock, and metal fixings are separated for scrap recovery.
